Starting with a short drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal the trail to Helambu climbs on to the Shivapuri ridge from where there are sweeping views of the central Himalayas.

The Ganjala pass is one of the most challenging passes in Nepal. This wedge in the Himalaya is situated at an altitude of 5160m. Our Langtang trek takes you over this pass as you make your way south from Langtang village which lies at 3500m and where the national park headquarters is located. The route from Gyang in Helambu, require crossing the 5106m Ganja La.
 

These treks offer a variety of picturesque villages and breathtaking views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and the Langtang Ranges. Central Nepal is a fine introduction into some of the more off-the-beaten path trekking as the terrain is constant, but not too steep, and the altitude is relatively low.
