Testimonial

Peak Endeavour’s Nepal provides an excellent overall experience from the time of arrival in Nepal until you leave on your flight home. Norbu Lama, the owner of Peak Endeavour’s is a very knowledgeable guide. He knows much about the people, religion and regions of Nepalese trekking. Moreover he provided complete sightseeing and shopping in the Kathmandu area during our stay. His staff is courteous, honest and provides professional service and excellent security throughout the trek. The kitchen staff and chief cook understand the health concerns of weak western stomachs and did their best to keep us healthy. No one had health issues throughout our 20 day trek. The pace of the trek is well suited to achieve the altitude goals of the highest pass. Acute Mountain sickness was a non-issue as we progressed at a pace that provided adequate time to adapt to the altitude. The camping outfit provided by Peak Endeavour’s used high quality sleeping and eating tents. We felt like royalty. The trek itself was the best ever. Much diversity of culture, terrain, and ecologies. In summary, we would have no hesitation in any regard to use Peak Endeavour’s Nepal again in the future and greatly enjoyed our trip in 2010. We will be back!

Trip Overview Everest Panorama Trek

The Everest Panorama trek offers excellent views of Mt. Everest (8,848m/29029ft) and the main peaks of the Khumbu Himalayan Range, without going to extreme altitudes. Starting with a flight to Lukla (2,805m/9,200ft), you will make your way up to Namche Bazaar, the main town of the area and the Sherpa “capital”. After a day of acclimatization, you will explore the traditional Sherpa villages of Kunde and Khumjung, set amongst the incredible mountain scenery. From there you will trek to Tengboche, the site of Nepal's most sacred Buddhist monastery. The views from this ridge above the Dudh Kosi river is stunning as Everest looms over the Lhotse Ridge and Ama Dablem towering above the monastery. It continues to Pangboche, the trek's highest point, and then by way of a path seldom visited, Phortse, you will swing back to Namche and Lukla to end the trek with a flight back to Kathmandu. This trek offers incredible mountain views, culture, nature, hospitality and surprises all packed into 10 eventful days. Everest Panorama trek is combined with two days in the Chitwan wildlife reserve. This particular reserve is known for one-horned rhino, bengel tiger, sloth bear, wild boar, barking deer and over 300 species of birds.
Moderate and difficult trekking from 2,805m – 3,985m with the possiblity of optional hikes up to 4,500m. Accommodation in comfortable lodges run by Sherpa families. The trek begins with airfare from Kathmandu to Lukla and includes all meals, services of the skilled Sherpa trekking guides and porters to assist with luggage.
