Peak Endeavour’s Nepal provides an excellent overall experience from the time of arrival in Nepal until you leave on your flight home. Norbu Lama, the owner of Peak Endeavour’s is a very knowledgeable guide. He knows much about the people, religion and regions of Nepalese trekking. Moreover he provided complete sightseeing and shopping in the Kathmandu area during our stay. His staff is courteous, honest and provides professional service and excellent security throughout the trek. The kitchen staff and chief cook understand the health concerns of weak western stomachs and did their best to keep us healthy. No one had health issues throughout our 20 day trek. The pace of the trek is well suited to achieve the altitude goals of the highest pass. Acute Mountain sickness was a non-issue as we progressed at a pace that provided adequate time to adapt to the altitude. The camping outfit provided by Peak Endeavour’s used high quality sleeping and eating tents. We felt like royalty. The trek itself was the best ever. Much diversity of culture, terrain, and ecologies. In summary, we would have no hesitation in any regard to use Peak Endeavour’s Nepal again in the future and greatly enjoyed our trip in 2010. We will be back!

Ganesh Himal Trek :

The high valleys north of the Ganesh range on the Tibetan border are the complete wilderness and away from much of the trekkers. This very trek is newly introduced by us and all of our clients are lucky enough to obtain the permission to enter this beautiful area. The trail starts from Bettrawati following the upper valley landscapes. You will be witnessing the panoramic views of many majestic mountains, not tiring to see the smiling faces of native people from the villages and sometimes walking by the bank of rivers in continuation of the trail. You will have the opportunities to visit the inhabitants of these areas, who live in flat roofed fortress-like village in this remote village. The journey around these legendary mountains is among the most enjoyable though tough.

This is one of the legendary "Hidden Valleys" of the Himalayas, guarded by 3 tiered pagoda set on a rocky steep sided gorges to pine forest and alpine meadows leading to a huge glacier below the snow capped peaks. The trail ends at Gorkha and the following day we drive back to Kathmandu.

Gorkha Siklish Trek :

This exhilarating trek has been researched to ensure the most spectacular views of the Annapurna Range and Lamjung Himal. This low altitude trek cuts through an area rarely visited and traverses a variety of terrain from low land villages and terraced fields up to Nepal largest Gurung village of Siklis. Starting from the old capital of Gorkha, our route climbs atop a hill overlooking the snowy peaks of the Himalaya and where the old royal palace known as Gorkha Durbar towers the bazar. Descending through terraced fields we head west to cross the Annapurna circuit route before traversing an area south of Lamjung Himal at low altitude with plenty of rural life such as typical nepalee villages not used to seeing foreigners. Reaching Madi Pool north of Pokhara, our route heads towards the fishtail peak of Machapuchare upstream the Seti Khola till Ghalegaon, an important Gurung village. Then the trail climbs up to Siklis through a rhododendron forest. The largest Gurung village is situated at the foot of Lamjung Himal (6931m). From there we descend steeply to the Modi Khola riverside. Our last camp at Thulo Kot offers a panorama of twenty peaks before descending to the Begnas lake. After a short drive to Pokhara we have a last camp near the famous Phewa lake and the next day we fly back to Kathmandu.

Lower Dolpo Trek :

Long out of bounds to foreign trekkers, Dolpo lures adventurers with promises of untouched natural splendor, mystical cultures and rare wildlife. Dolpo situated in Nepal's far west was only recently opened to trekkers. This is where you find the stunning Phoksundo Lake, celebrated as the jewel of Dolpo. The people here trace their origins to Tibet, and their culture is a window of the tradition as practiced on the roof of the world centuries ago. The delusive snow leopard is a famous denizen of Dolpo and the rare cat has acquired the status of a mere legend. Thus it's not only the scenery that attracts trekkers to Dolpo, it's the chance to see a corner of Nepal that very few visitor will ever experience.
