Peak Endeavour’s Nepal provides an excellent overall experience from the time of arrival in Nepal until you leave on your flight home. Norbu Lama, the owner of Peak Endeavour’s is a very knowledgeable guide. He knows much about the people, religion and regions of Nepalese trekking. Moreover he provided complete sightseeing and shopping in the Kathmandu area during our stay. His staff is courteous, honest and provides professional service and excellent security throughout the trek. The kitchen staff and chief cook understand the health concerns of weak western stomachs and did their best to keep us healthy. No one had health issues throughout our 20 day trek. The pace of the trek is well suited to achieve the altitude goals of the highest pass. Acute Mountain sickness was a non-issue as we progressed at a pace that provided adequate time to adapt to the altitude. The camping outfit provided by Peak Endeavour’s used high quality sleeping and eating tents. We felt like royalty. The trek itself was the best ever. Much diversity of culture, terrain, and ecologies. In summary, we would have no hesitation in any regard to use Peak Endeavour’s Nepal again in the future and greatly enjoyed our trip in 2010. North Ridge
The North Ridge is approached from Monjo on the trail to Namche Bazaar. From base camp ascend steep grass and scree and finally a ramp leading to the ridge proper.
Itinerary of South- East Ridge Route In Detail.
Days 01 : Fly Kathmandu to Lukla.
Days 02 - 06 : Trek Hinku valley to South East base camp.
Days 07 : Acclimatization day.
Days 08 - 14 : Climb Kusum Kangaru.
Days 15 - 17 : Return trek to Lukla.
Days 18 : Fly Lukla to Kathmandu.

Days 01 : Fly Kathmandu to Lukla. Trek to Phakding.
Days 02 - 03 : Trek Monjo-Kusum Kangaru Base Camp.
Days 04 : Acclimatization day at Namche.

Days 13 : Return trek to Lukla.
Days 15 : Fly Lukla to Kathmandu.
